The one thing about doing the headers though, is that I am pretty much going to have to buy my car out at the end of the lease. With the amount of money I'll have put into this car, it would be ludicrous to turn it back in.

Wouldn't they have to reprogram your car again if you got headers at a later date? Save yourself the hassle and get the headers in Jan as well. If not, you're a wuss....stop posting here and wasting our time. haha
