I have a 2009 BMW 528 xdrive. I plan to convert the interior bulbs and rear license plate bulbs to LED, and the reverse bulbs to a brighter bulb.
First off, with respect to reverse bulbs, does anyone here have the PIAA ones (see link below). If so, how are they? I would prefer to stick with halogen for reverse rather than LED.

Next, I am trying to find a fairly cheap interior/license plate LED bulb kit. I have read thoroughly through several sites and this one provides the most useful information: https://5series.net/forums/topic/112...erior-led-kit/
Does anybody have any luck with the ebay packages? It looks like the prices range from $50-$60. Several members recommended purchasing the bulbs separately, but that costs about the same as the ebay package deals. Any suggestions/recommendations?
Thanks.

I also found this kit:
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/ProductDeta...MD_09&CartID=1
with the license plate bulbs and 15% off promo comes out to $84 shipped. I read good reviews and wouldnt mind paying the extra 20 for a good kit. Suggestions? Recommendations??

I know your new and so am I, so I'll be the one to let you know to post in the correct forum (your welcome guys). As far as recommendations go, I used LED reverse and they are sweet!!! Most guys here including myself will tell you to steer clear of ebay bc of the negative experiences they've had. John@motorcepts is the man for lighting on this forum, everyone goes to him and I'm sure he'd hook you up with a package deal and you'll be a satisfied customer. You can find him under the vendor classifieds section of the forum.

I have my own setup on my HID reverse lights but all I can say is . . . Get the HID's if you care so much.
Nothing will come close to the power of HID's
I am actually running range rover ballasts for my reverse lights.
They are VERY VERY fast . . . perfect for reversing since you need light almost instantaneously

I have a set of LED Interior lights from Trinity, they are pretty good. You have to wiggle the wires at times to get a proper contact inside the socket. Not a big deal.
