I am nearing 10,000 miles on my 2006 M5. Though the tires still look ok, I am getting a lot more loss of traction (increased DSC in M mode, etc.) than a few 1,000 miles ago. Anyone experiencing the same thing? Has anyone replaced the crap Continental Sport Contacts that come from the factory? If so, what make, etc. and what do you think?

Thanks, Steve

Michelin PS2. Best there is. Very good grip and twice the miles as the Contis!

Michelin PS2's - by unanimous agreement on the M5board.com, the best tire for the M5. Expensive but worth every penny.

My Ride: E60 M5 Black/Black/Silver trim. Idrive, navigation, Active Seats, HUD, SMG, that plastic Key... and every option except the Active Cruise Control. I asked for everything and dealer forgot Active Cruise.....
