they will discount abit on the m5, so about 72000euro.. only 6100 more than the e55 (which is 12000km)

what do you think ?

i dont think the link is working... the m5 is 1850km blue one ... made 01/2005 with 1year euro guarantee ... they are asking 73000e?

check it out on www.bmw.de

Production date is wrong. There were no M5?s produced during jan 2005!

My car was the first one produced ( after the 40 pre production cars ) feb 14 2005.

jurnalist test cars are the worst to buy ever. They get brand new not broken in cars and they totaly kill it. Full throttle from the beggining with cold engine on top of it. Those cars usualy have serious problems before 20k on it. Event the biggest discount ever is not worth of journalist test car

You get "unmercifully thrashed" option! As someone said before. I wouldn't touch such a car.

Its all up to you Bro, do you need at all an M5 can you drive it somewhere really fast or just to have one?

2nd, the price is low- for us here w/o tax it wud be 66 thousand- but was not interested

3rd. Peter is right if it was killed in the first 300kms???

4th you still hjave 1 yr euro guarantee so maybe less risky, buy some more yrs and then get it 110% checked then decide what do you want...

I prefer 0.0 km cars and the breakin done by me than others...

I know gebrauchtwagen very well....

and you think that BMW would honestly wrote down that it was a demo car?????????? I don't think so.

and even if so, what makes you think that BMW people would drive the cars easy? especialy if it is not their car and they have it just for a few months. they go very hard on the car. If somebody gives you brand new M5 for couple of months would you be waiting for 2000km to be fully broken in? I don't think so. You would floor it all the way the first minute because you wouldn't simply car.

Especialy M5 that needs to be broken in very carefully and slowly...... you don't buy such car as a second hand car.

gebrauchtwagen is good for VW Golf 2.0 fsi maybe but not for an M5

my friends father worked as a top manager in VW....he was given fully loeaded cars every few months.... you should see what we did to those cars and he was a manager too
that is just the way it is. if you drive a car that is not yours........ have you ever driven a rental car for a day? remember how you drove it

well some say demo cars some say customer cars

anyways i bought a brand new m3 e46 coupe... drove it back from germany (keeping under 160km/h)...
was very careful with it ... and the engine collapsed on itself and completely disintegrated when the car
was 2350km... would you call that normal?

+ the hydrolics motor died at 7100km

i KNOW the car has been driven hard but i assume that any big faults about servicing and stuff would
be rectified.. Better than buying a brand new car to have it f*ck up when its 3 weeks old??
