On the center console where the heated seats and ventilated seat buttons are located, what is the button that has a symbol of a seat with arrows pointing to the side bolsters that lights up with 3 leds. What is it and what does it do and whats with the 3 levels? Is it the same as the comfort seats with the button that can manually adjust our side bolsters inwards? Does this button just do it automatically? Not sure

that is the best button of all time. those are the "active side bolster" settings. it's for comfort, normal and sport. based on your preference, this dictates how the seat will grab you as you ring around a turn. i always keep mine on the highest (sport). this is the best, internal feature of the car. even my wife loves this. it's too bad they don't offer it on the other models.

i never use the ventilated seat option in my m5 and the interior color is black. i even ordered the ventilated seats in my new X5, but i did it more for the fact that the drivers side seat comes with a "massage" feature, if you get the ventilated seat package. yes, "massage"! hahaha! so i had to have it. hahaha! yes, i like my toys.
I always keep my m5 with normal mode on "2 green lighted", I find that 3rd a bit too aggresive and takes charge when there is no need .
