So can somebody confirm that the M5 E60 front and rear brake rotors, calipers, discs and the whole deal....fits my 545 with no issues? I have on the 167's.

Khooger - we have the same setup - I've got a set of M5 brakes on the way...the whole deal will fit no prob. (min rim 18" in case you have a winter setup).

If you have one, Nick and I did some research and calculations and deducted you will also need a 30mm spacer if you wanna keep and use the reserve wheel in case of need.

Yes, no fear khooger: your 545i is fast enough to tire those brakes .

This kind of reply does not offer any substance Alex.

How many mm in your experience clears both front and rear M5 calipers with the reserve wheel ?
We actually tried it in real life with 31mm (16+15mm - we had those handy) and just cleared the calipers...what did you try then ?

a) Rizbel said 12 mm or so .
b) With my tyre vendor we tried to screw the reserve wheel to the car and we saw we couldn't, but it didn't seem the wheel need three centimetres.

So do you think 30mm is the minimum ?

PS:
I am talking about *front*, nobody would get rear brakes to brake better .

Andy is correct, I just wanted to add that rear calipers are more tricky/difficult (3mm thing) than the fronts, but 30 mm will cover both
