Has it been confirmed that all M5's coming to the US, with a production date after Sept 5th (week 36) are equipped with Push Button Start?

DSC of second generation
Lggage compatment release button in driver's A-pillar
I-drive mouse with new design (aluminium)

The new US M5 brochure shows the start/stop button and new iDrive controller (looks like machined aluminum):

Here's pix of a just-delivered M5 showing start/stop button and new iDrive controller:

For non-M5 E60s, the US brochure shows a leather topped iDrive controller (like the new 7er), so it appears that, at least in the US, the aluminum iDrive controller is for the M5 only:

Actually this is not entirely correct.

Dingolfing started two week earlier. Any car build after august 8/22 comes with push start/off button (which i believe is week 34).

The luggage compartment release button on the driver side A-pillar?

So know where are people going to put their boost gauge? J/K

I believe he meant the button to the left of the foot well, above hood release (standard on US cars, but apparently deleted in recent years elsewhere).
