from the bmw site I cant download

only I can play when I am online.

How can I download this

That saves the entire web page. It is a Schockwave file on the page so it is the only way to see the video.

But how can I save shockwave to my computer??

Nope no luck saving it. The file is temporarily stored in the temp folder of your comp and then once you exit or close the bmwusa website it automatically deletes itself. And while the webpage is open you have no access to it since its being used by another application mainly the BMWUSA website so you can copy, cut or paste it anywhere else. If anyone is able to get around this let me know I'm really interested in saving the vid too. its about 6.8MB.

Go look for it in your temp folder when you are watching the vid. its called somthing like flaXX.tmp where XX can be anything.

When you're on the site, add the site to your favorites. Then right click on the favorite and make it available off line. Then the site will be stored on your computer and doesn't get deleted. Then you are able to watch it whenever you want... Unfortunately you see the website, not just the video...

Nope making it available offline doesnt work either. They're really protective of that vid. The site does not allow that swf file to be available offline. So once they remove that file off bmwusa.com thats it... no more... :'(

I got another link to a page which has only the clip .. I mean you won't be able to download it .. but you can see it in one page " larger"

Ya I dug around and found that too... was hoping with that I could just download it or use a download manager and download it but no luck... Someone MUST know how to download it.
