speaking of front pics, Which carbon hood should I go with? i'm painting everything but the gills, vis? or vorsteiner ? or some other one i'm not aware of?

quick question, in the pic the right side vent looks deeper then the left side vent. why is that? Is one an intake vent and one an outtake vent? or is that just the design? also if you ever spot one with everything but the vents painted please post the pic. I'd love to see what it looks like
