My Ride: 2005 530i upgraded to 2007 550i 12/20/06
Took delivery of 2008 M5 3/25/08 cf delete K&N filters, the rest stock.
Picked the car up yesterday. MAN WHAT A MACHINE
An surprise running mate from Ft.Worth to Dallas! We followed each other for about 20 miles.
One sweet Lambo
Will post better pics and my thoughts on the M5 this weekend.
I have already noticed a couple of new features on the 08 model!

Forgot if I told you but you should go hang out with the DFW M5 crew from M5Board. They meet every Sat at some Starbucks. If you're interested, I can find out more info for you.

I am going to email Darren with the M5 crew this afternoon about the weekly meets.
As far as the wood goes I would guess maybe Red Oak wide/ random planking they keep it well oiled,
it is at Autobahn Motors in Ft.Worth. Check out thier web page for more pics of the show room.

hey congrats! I just picked up my 06 m5 a couple days ago. I work on saturdays but I'll make it out someday. Ask Darren about the Ricekiller Sunday meets and try and make it out. Perhaps we'll get to meet soon.
