My Ride: M5 SMG
Model Year: 2006
I have a low mileage 2006 M5 with SMG, and after loading the euro software, it shifts pretty well, but I do find it annoying fighting the SMG while breaking. The software is very slow to downshift. My 05 545 is a six speed, and it really gets up and goes with ease, but it doesn't have the M5's double clutch which I heard can make for a pretty heavy clutch pedal.
But enjoy, because 6 speed M5's seem pretty rare.
