I've got the 10" BBS RS-GT's on my M5 right now.
Are yours 10" all round?

I like BBS wheels very much--including those you are interested in. But, my gosh, I wouldn't change a hair on he M5's head.

Sorry, typo and I edited the post. I meant 20" BBS RS-GT's all around. 8.5 inches in front, 10 inches in back.

The BBS RS-GT and Michelin PS2 combo is one of the most expensive, but the best performance setup you can put on the M5 IMO. The RS-GT's are very light, and the only 2-piece wheels where the rim is forged as well as the center, so they are incredibly strong. The Michelins are the best street tires you can get in the M5 size (the Goodyear F1 GS-D3's are just as good, but you can't get them in the 20" size for the M5). 21 inches are too big, heavy and too easily damaged. The 19's are OK, but I can't get the Michelins here in the US in that size. Dinan makes some great 19's but again, no really good tires in that size for the M5.

The total combo for the BBS/Michelin setup is over $8,000 US, but it's the best.

Ouch $8200?
light for a price...I think I'm going for a 3 piece Iforged or Radenergier ans Soc_fans car, trying ot decide on the tire size and I think these wheels will look nice on the M5 too for under 6k

Here's the problem with 'forged' multipiece wheels. Almost all of them only forge the center section(s). The rim section is typically spin-cast and machined, which makes it the weakest part of the wheel. Unfortunately, this is the part of the wheel that takes the most abuse, and is most likely to be damaged. So, what you're paying for in the BBS wheels isn't just weight, it's the forged rim section as well.

I am also interested in the r10's. does anyone know for sure if the outer part is forged or not?
