That's just the option.
The guy has an option and you can have that from him. You still can chose colour and everything and the car will be delivered beginning of 2005. If you put your name on the list you will get it 2006.

So you are not bidding on the car, just on the option to buy one that will get delivered beginning of 2005.

Lucky I didnt bid 1500 euros on it just for the idea of buying an M5 hahaha.. I would have had the option on a car for 1500 aaarrrghh..
