Hi Cidair. I'm thinking of fitting the Hartge on my M6. However, I'm concerned about it being too loud. I wrote to Jorg Wey to ask him if the Hartge is way louder than the stock but his response is that it sounds better. Can you pls help me on this one? Also, how is your shifting when travelling around speeds of 80 to 100 Km/hr? I ask this because the transmission doesn't sound and feel right at these speeds. Shifting feels fantastic and there is no transmission noises when zooming at 200 Km/hr. I normally set the drivelogic at D2 or S2 driving around the city. Look forward to your response.

Maybe you should try a quicker shift program. Also note that when the RPM's are low, the shifts are believed to be slower.

The transmission has it?s drawbacks when in D-mode. Sometimes a little jerky!

When you shift at low rpm / partial throttle the shifts are much slower than at full throttle.
I also have clunky noises from the transmission/gearbox when shifting at " normal " rpms.

HARTGE race exhaust ( wich I have on my car ) sounds just increadible! Louder than OEM but not too loud IMO.

Thks for your response, Cidair. At least this clears my mind about the transmission noises, etc. Seems the V10 coupled with the SMG was never built for normal driving which is what we guys here in Singapore do 90% of the time unless we are willing to risk our license.

About the Hartge, looks like I will definitely import the mufflers from them. Unfortunately they have not got their headers done yet; have you replaced the stock items on this one?
