The NOS will probably shoot out an engine of an American car or others, but ASR have sold more than 30 (i think) NOS kits and some have over 30k miles with no issues. So I think that would be a good upgrade for the money considering you have over 700hp in a 4 door sedan that could out performe alot and I mean alot of cars!

I believe ASR has sold about twice that number of NOS kits.

E60M5Beast, you should go search on M5board and you'll get more feedback on this kit. Member M5Ranger is a huge proponent of this system and he has had the kit for over a year with about 15K-19K miles on the engine without any issues.

As far as stroker engines go, like Vegastrashed stated earlier, Dinan and RDSport have them but they'll set you back around $50K give or take. Evosport is also coming out with their own stroker kit as well. Look up threads by Darren_Dallas and SBM6 on m5board as they have the Dinan stroker engines on their M5 and M6, respectively

And for SCs or Turbos, G-Power has two kits for our car with the higher kit producing 730hp. ASR is also working on a twin turbo set up but not sure when that's coming out.

the number of HP you are trying to acquire is pretty high. IMHO, the ASR kit is the only way to get there using the best bang for the buck route. Otherwise, the stroker kit from Dinan gets my nod if you have the money.

I know a member on M5Board that used to have the Gruppe M intake. He goes by M5Ranger on that forum. He then switched it to the ASR intake. If you're on that forum, you can PM him for his input on the Gruppe M. He's also the one that's been running the ASR NOS kit for over a year now.
