Gone: 2001 M5, Black on Black
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get Matt black stock alloys for the M5 in the UK? As seen on renntech36 .

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
in the usa, dealers generally don't do those kind of mods. just go to a shop and powdercoat the stock wheels black.

I don't think the blackness is "stock", only the wheels themselves (in standard colour)

To me this just means that he has had the stock wheels coated in semi gloss black. Not that he bought the wheels in that colour from stock. Also, you want matt black, his are semi gloss black.

You go to a shop (wheel) and ask them to sand-spray it and it would cost less than you think!!! max. 400$ if more they cheat you
good luck and guys do not bug your dealers: 1 they know sorry nothing of these and too much attention on modding is never the goal 
here in E60 we always can solve anything!

Many thanks, one more question though, do they stay looking nice when sprayed or do they start to look tatty with age?
