I've asked about manual transmission M5s on this board before and like you, got no response. You may have better luck on the M5 board.
In a couple of months, I'll have some first hand experience. I'm doing a European Delivery with a friend to pick up his manual transmission M6 convertible and we'll be near your homes! We're driving from Munich to Prague, then through western Poland to Berlin and firnally straight across Germany to Amsterdam. Seems like a good way to break-in an M6!!
