do you think that kind of treatment hurts the car?

the people that do this offten, have more than a one rim set and they put used tyres on the rim....and they use them untill the tire bursts, then they replace that rim with one they have bought with them and is ready... they just join back in action untill all the tires they have are useless.. and end up calling a truck to pick the car up...the also often brake their trannys and difss......
nothing as fancy as an e60 m5, mostly american v8s (GTO, Mustangs, Holden, Fords..)
