I'm suprised the M5 didnt walk it... the old E39 M5 can take a regular vett.... but the Z06 is a different story.

WAS COMPLETE TOTAL WRITE OFF, BUT RESTORED TO PRESENT CONDITION..........FOR ULTRA CHEAP....HOWEVER TOOK 3 MONTHS TO DO IT
overall the M5 Was going to be on top, 1st part of vid wa a bit odd, however M5 showed in the 2nd vid

The first half of the video had the M5 behind and catching up quickly. He was reeling in the C6. It would then appear the M5 slowed down for traffic in his lane.

[b]an m5 cannot beat a z51 c6. i own a z51 convertible as well as my 545i. i ran against a m5 at english town raceway and the m5 cannot beat me. now i have a magnusun supercharger with a magnaflow exhaust on my c6 and i eat porsche tturbos! the guy must not know how to shift and drive lol[/b]

I took a porsche gt3 and i also raced a lambo gallardo. they are no contest. I have 625rwhp. as for the m5 its a pig and doesnt have the torque of a c6. its 0-60 cannot touch a z51 c6. as for the supercharger, m5 has no no no chance. thats why the z06 was rated the top performance car evnen rated better that the porsche 996 turbo as for pound for pound. 
I love the m5 and i have a 545i converted to the m5 look. but when it comes to brute power the vette cannot be touched as of now
