I posted this over in the Mods section, but thought I might post here and ask the Experts.

I'm looking for the correct placement of the M5 spoiler. I've searched and have come across a few different examples.
Can anyone tell which one is correct?
Thanks

I'm guessing that wherever they usually sit when BMW install them from the factory is the "correct" way, however if even BMW can't do it consistently, then I guess its gonna be a case of wherever you like it.

They all look secure to me.

If its an OEM , the tabs will line it up perfectly.

As I said in the other post, here's a pic of mine factory installed.... M-Sports in the UK have the same part as standard.

Here is a side close-up of mine. They have it right back at edge. Hope this view helps, Fetish. Let me know if you want different angles. Good luck.

Thanks for the excellent pics. Beautiful mounting on your deck lid. I had never given the precise placement much thought but after this thread I am glad mine is at the very edge. It looks more complete and does not break up the "lines" much. You have a beautiful car, too.
