I saw this on Craigslist. I do not follow the resale value of M5s...but this seems cheap.

Is it?

Hmmm...30K miles for a 2007. A bit high on the mileage. Mine's an '06 with 38K miles and I think I have high mileage. hahaha

That said, it sure seems cheap though. The ad itself is a bit annoying with typos and stuff. What the heck is "audio steering"? hahaha

I often wonder why when somebody is trying to sell a car, they don't even bother to have the car detailed before the pictures are taken???

+1 on that. I really never understood why they put wood in ANY M5--just doesn't go with the theme IMHO. Especially that light wood looks hideous--dark poplar would be less egregious, but black or brushed would be the way to go. Hell, if you can buy an M5, surely you can pop for new trim, right?

Price looks pretty good. Miles are up there, but still....

But yet it is a dealer....pretty cheesy dealer. It is near me here in ATL...I should stop by.

I got a 2007 CPO 550i in January..less than 2 yrs since it was registered with 36k miles....high, but perfect condition plus CPO. I got it for $35k...seemed like a good deal to me.

I cannot stand the wood interior either. and the interior looks beat up...hard to tell, but in the pictures, the steering wheel looks like it is peeling or something and the driver head rest looks stained etc..etc.

And the tire low warning in the picture is hilarious.

But I love the exterior color. Silverstone, correct? There is an M3 convertible in the showroom of my local dealer in this color. Very nice.

Yeah, that's Silverstone. The exterior looks really nice from the pics. I see what you're saying about the headrest and steering wheel. But, those are pretty cheap fixes if you like the car. A really good interior detail would help. It's a Sept. 06 build, so 30K is not crazy high when you look at it as less than 15K per year.
