It outlux 911 and outperform AMG. Of course it also outlux and -perform many others too. It's like Batleship Bismark at it's own time: Be faster than anything stronger and stronger than anything faster. Just change "stronger" to "luxurier". :D

I think this is a great marketing tool and, as a matter of speaking, is a necessary supllement to the actual 2006 M5 brochure.
There is a lot of technical information with regards to all the technology in the car and seems to be geared toward the enthusiast opposed to the marketing brochure which is in full color and meant to be more "Hollywood" in it's presentation.

It's fun reading a brief description of each competing car then a gang-load of advantages listed that the M5 has over that particular competitor.

At any rate, here is the list of competitors in this booklet:

MBZ: E55 AMG; CLS55 AMG
Cadillac: STS-V (no picture shown)
Porsche: Carrera S Coupe
Aston Martin: V8 Vantage
Ferrari: F430 (no picture shown; hell, I wouldn't post one either if I wanted people to buy the car I was trying to sell :P)
Lamborghini: Gallardo

I doubt too many people cross shop the F430 and the M5. Maybe Jon D.
