I have a question in regards to headliner assembly and materials for 2006 M5. I believe that the headliner is made of Alcantara Anthracite. The question is that does the sliding tray which is covering the sunroof is of the same Alcantara Anthracite material or simply regular Anthracite?

I would really appreciate an Urgent reply or a phone call at 410.336.8300 as I am trying to figure out something for my project car.

It is available in both options but always the sunroof tray is made in the same finish material (regular/regular or alcantara/alcantara).

do you have a part number for the alcantara sunroof roof tray as I am not finding that with my dealer and is being told that only tray option is in anthracite (while the rest of the roof is being put as alacantara). To me the whole situation is somewhat bizzare as it does not make any sense.

Do you ( or anyone knows as where to get the part number for alcantara anthracite tray. The number which is being told to me is 54137033541 ( which is for anthracite sunroof tray)

The part number is 54137132937. Please note that alcantara is the finish material and anthracite is the color. You could have the alcantara in platinum, ecru, caramel and anthracite colors.

Here's the diagram of the part that Alex.br posted:

I can't 100% confirm that's what you're looking for though...

sorry about the dual thread Rudy. I was in a hurry this evening ( while looking for urgent answers) and did not initally realize that it will be more appropriate to post it in M5 forum as compared to parts area..anyway, I think I may have gotten the answer. (yet to be confirmed tomorrow though).

Is there a way in this system that I can simply delete my own initialed listing once I relize that I should Not have done the multiple listings?

You can't delete a topic, even if you started it.

There's usually no need to post something across forums -- just have some faith in the members of this board -- you'd be surprised how little we miss...
