Hi,
Great forum, and I have managed to find answers to most of my questions, but I tried doing a search and didn't find an answer to weather there is a difference between the M5 and the "standard" grille? I don't mean chrome or black, rather the shape. I would like a grille which is a bit like the e90 ones where the "verticals" are a bit closer to the edge than what they are now. Grateful for any tips.

Hi Zaphood and welcome!
Honestly, I didn't notice any difference between my grills and the M5 ones
Edit :
Many members installed M5 bumpers on their normal E60 but never spoken about a new grill .
Edit2 : according to realoem.com, the part number (51137065701/2) is the same for both 545i and M5 . So the shape has to be the same for all E60, except for the colour (black for all, chromed for V8 and V10)

grills are the same. it may just look different because i noticed with the M5 bumper on a regular e60, the part of the bumper in between the grills is flushed. with an mtech front bumper, the part in between the grills stick out. hope this makes sense.

Same grills. I put in my friend's grille from his 545 since it was painted black to see how it would look.
The question is, are the kidney grilles the same between pre and post LCI models??

Thanks all, I was just curious as there are different ones for sale on ebay. Some advertised as M5 model.
