This is from the m5board.com forum, http://hubpages.com/hub/Top-50-Fastest-Cars

Number 19 is pretty amazing for the M5!
Hope this is not a repost.

Yeah didn't see the M6 but it should probably rank right above the M5 due to better aerodynamics.

Man, one of my bucket list items would be to do a 200mph+ run in my M5.

Very cool list. Thanks for sharing. Geez, I can't believe that F40 looks so dated.

I am with you, where is the M6? Also what about all the AMG MB's?
I would like to see the same list in a couple of years, wonder if all this turbo charging crazy will pay off?
Cubic inches, high rpm, naturally aspirated engine will always be my choice!
The F40 does look like it has been around for awhile, dam we need more old cars like that

Where is the CTS-V on the list? Doesn't it currently hold the title of the fastest sedan on the planet? M5 is now #2 I believe but I still want it.

The CTS-V is ranked #42 on the list. Remember that this is ranked by top speed. I think you're thinking of lap times around the Nurburgring.
