Attention all M5 owners:

I have a 2005 530i and I was wondering if it were possible to put the actual M5 front bumper on my car instead of the M-tech front bumper. Will I still be able to install fog lights? Also, are the M5 and M-tech side strakes the SAME exact style? Is it also possible to mount the M5 fender gills on my car? Would this require installing an entirely new set of M5 front fenders? Do you guys know where I can get these parts because here in the U.S. the M5 is not even out yet. Also, will the M5 style 166 rims fit on my car or will I have to modify the fitting to get them installed?

EDIT: My bad, wrong place to post all this, I have this just posted in the modifying section instead.

Not sure about the M5 bumper, but I saw the side gills on Ebay. They provided the cutting pattern with the set, so I assume that holes are cut in the fenders. The set was like $70.00.

Those are clone for E39 M5, the E60 M5 looks a little bit different.

Are you trying to make your car to be a fake M5? Dont tell me you're going to put the M5 badge on there too...

But to answer your question... No the M5 bumper will not fit unless you change out bith side fenders. The M5 Wheel Well fender is wider than the production series cars. So if you change out the fenders you'll get ALL the goodies. Side Grills, Bumper will fit AND wheels will fit.

And No you cant get the parts yet here in the states... you'll need to have some good contact to do so right now. And even when they do release the E60 M5 parts might be restricted to people with M5 VIN numbers. But it'll be easier to access those parts once they arrive in the states.
