I have a 2006 M5 Cnadian car...buld date is March 2006....what is LCI...what does it mean...does it matter...etc etc.

LCI = Life Cycle Impulse. Its an update during a model year. The e60 series update starts with the 2008 models.

Did you know you could enable "spell check" in most browsers .. IE, Firefox, etc. ?

Thanks for the info, as well as the heads up to spell check. What exactly does the LCI do...?

For e60, it consists of some interior updates as well as headlight (corner amber delete) and taillight (new LED design) changes.

Read the attached document. It's for the general E60 series, but it certainly does apply to the M5s too.
