My Ride: 09 M5 (E60) Interlagos blue, Silverstone interior, with cold weather package. Adaptive Xenon headlamps and adaptive brake lights, hud, comfort access. Comfort seats, basically fully loaded.
Gentlemen here come the beast to my house. Its an 06 w/ Indianapolis red interior w/ 51k miles. Heads up, Nav, smg and adaptive lamps etc. I love the color combo. Only thing missing is the adaptive side bolsters whatever you call em. It even has this black velvet lookin ceiling. Its gorgeous looks better in person than the pics. I know we'd had lots of discussion on the tranny issue. Now i need some good extended warranty. It drives crazy awesome, though i feel quite some bumps around the city here in Ozone Park NY. One owner from Elmhurst NY, you never know he might be on here and let us know the detailed history. I would love to come to Meets but i dunno how they work and where to come? Neway lets enjoy and happy motoring everyone.

Are you sure it's an '06? Mine is an '06 and if my meory serves me right, they did not have start ignition button! This came later in the '07 models.
The car may have been a 2006 production, but I think it's a 2007 model!

Congrats. Your M5 looks great -- love the red interior. For meet and greets, check the meet and greet forum. Things have been pretty quiet in NYC this winter. I am sure that there will be some fun meets come this spring.

All M5's starting from July 2005 to July 2006 production ( all were referred to as 2006 models ) had a standard ignition key. All M5's produced after that ( referred to as 2007 models ) had ignition buttons! I believe the earlier build M5's were never exported to the US.
Can someone please confirm if their M5 is a pre September 2006 build and has an ignition button?
