The Emmy has, like all BMW's, a vMax (top speed) of 250 Km/h.
Beginning this fall, at least here in Germany, you can get the vMax set to 305 Km/h from your BMW dealer. They check different stuff on the car, and make the changes then.
A M5 without vMax could drive 320 Km/h, according to BMW. So, there will still be a vMax, but waaaay higher!
They will do it, once the engine has been used 2000 Km's. But only if requested.

Just wanted to pass this info through.

Yeah i agree! Same in my 535d...don't even feel when i'm at 290.

The price for the Vmax kit is 2350 euro!!!

They need the car for a minimum of 4 days! :thumbsdown:
