Do these just pop off of the strut towers, or is there more to it?
I'm debating on installing a set of lowering springs on my M6 myself, and there doesn't appear to be MUCH support for M6 DIY around, so I figured I'd check with the M5 folks. Any DIY spring removal/ install threads out there for the M5?

Parts # 5 & 6 in the below diagram are the parts in question.....

 

pull it straight up with ease. Do not break anything or it will be quite costly. NO FORCING!

So the covers and sensors just pull straight up on by hand?

 

yea then disconnect the wire from the mating connector and it comes right off

 

Thanks guys.....other than that is installing lowering springs pretty typical to any other car? The rears look simple, the fronts look a little more challenging.
