My Ride: 2006 SSII M5
Hello guys new to site !!!!
First things first....I am female and I drive a 2006 SSII M5 the car is stock and just turned 100K miles and I love it. I have never done any work to my car I have always took it to the dealer so now I want to do it my self. I need your guys help with my thermostat replacement, I have searched and searched and it really don't tell me everything. I got 1 gal. of BMW coolant and 2 gals. of water, 4 o-rings (11537835497) and new thermostat with O-ring and rider ring (I dunno what washers to get or where from). The car needs new coolant anyway, so I need to know where to drain coolant and the right way to do it all. I can get thermostat out after coolant is out but from there I dunno what to do to get it back in.....like adding coolant (how much of what and when). I would love to learn this and other stuff and with your help I know I can.

Welcome to the site and congrats on the purchase. I can not be too much help as I do not have an M5 but I can tell you that you should use a 50/50 mix of coolant and water. Just make sure the water is distilled
