My Ride: Late 2005 M5 in Silverstone Metallic II with Full Black Leather Interior. SMG, LOGIC7, Heated Front Seats, Rear Electric Sun Blind, Comms Package, Professional Nav, TV Function, Extended Voice Control, Adaptive Headlights
Hi all,
Does anybody on here have a GruppeM induction kit fitted to the M5? Or anyone have any experience with the GruppeM?? I've been looking to get one, and just wanted to learn a little more about them, and if they are worth doing!! Any help and advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

If you want to lose HP, go for it. Otherwise, I would recommend RPI. Contact Joe at Trinity (member r1racer) for their products.

I'll probably go for the RPI Scoops etc, as by the sounds of things, it's a very effective way of gaining a little more hp and cheaper than most induction kits, and if it's true that the GruppeM and such like loose hp, then i will definitely keep my ?1400!!

I haven't yet bro no. I haven't actually ordered anything yet. Waiting for Christmas to pass first. Plus, work is manic at the moment too, so don't really have time to play atm!! I will be buying in the New Year though. Been speaking to Nerwyll the last couple of weeks, and he knows i'm buying a fair few things off him soon, so as soon as they've been shipped to the UK, i'll let you know how it feels etc!

If you're on M5board, PM member M5Ranger. He used to have the GruppeM intake but I think he switched it to the ASR CAI. There's also the Dinan CAI but for the best bang for the buck, it'll have to be the RPI Sccops/BMC Filters/Block off plates combo. You can actually use the RPI scoops with the Dinan intake whereas you can't use it with the other systems.
