A question to all M5 owners. How many KMS can you get out of a full tank of gas??

Due to traffic congestion here in HK with all the stop and go city driving, I can only get approx 260kms in D1 mode and approx 180kms in S5, both just normal shifting without being heavy footed. That means it uses more gas than my F360 which I could squeeze approx 280kms out of it using paddle shifting 100% of the time.

Hey Williams what does your trip computer say? How many liters/100km?

Man what a junk car. Is worse than the F360? Throw away the M5 I say. Or better yet I'll just take the troublesome car off your hands.

I have almost 24,000 miles on the car, and I note the mileage at every fillup. Since switching to 94 octane, here are the mpg's covering 21,600 to 23,800 miles.

15.1,14.7,11.8, 12.2,13.6,14.7,17.1,15.6,12.9,12.5,11.5,11.3 Average of 13.6 mpg SD of 1.8

Here are the mpg's before, using 93 octane, covering 19,600 to 21,600.

11.6,12.0,11.3,13.8,15.2,10.8,9.5,10.9,10.6,12.5,1 6.1,10.6 Average of 12.1 mpg SD of 2.0

Not scientific, since I think there were a few more hwy miles in the 94 octane group. But still pretty interesting. Based on the low mileage points, it looks like the mileage is better with the 94 octane.

I'm shocked....180km?! With a tank? But what about agressive shifting and using the heavy foot? One can even move the car?
