Supposedly, the M5, unrestricted, is capable of 205mph. It's ranked as the 19th fastest production car and the fastest sedan on this list which was posted on another thread a month or so ago: http://hubpages.com/hub/Top-50-Fastest-Cars
There were lots of debate regarding indicated vs actual speed though. That said, I've seen a video of an M6 where the driver had a camera on the HUD as well as one on a GPS device and he took it to 206mph on the GPS on the autobahn in Germany. These cars are BEASTS!!

The is an interesting link for fastest production cars. Where did they get their data from? I know I read something the other day, the ZR-1 was tested at 208mph.

I'm sure it's near birmingham in england, the road sign say M42/M6 toll. I use the M42 at least once a month.

Not sure I'd have the balls to do that myself, road or even race track! But for not a lot of money you can add, RPI pulleys scoops and remap for an easy 550bhp. Mine is dyno'd at 526bhp and I just have remap and scoops, and scoops will do nothing when on dyno, need to be driving to get the benefit. Think 205 is easy, unmodified and delimited it's meant to be good for 205mph. It would be nice to know what mods the guy has done, but I can't imagine many, doesn't seem any different from my accelration
