love the new m5.anyone know why it does not have foglights like the other 5s.

Most likely for weight saving and cosmetic reasons.

actually i believe it's for cooling.. they're air ducts on the M rather than fogs.

I would have preferred the M5 to have foglights as well. I think they make the car look sportier. I know the front side intakes on the M5 are used for brake cooling but they also have brake cooling ducts on regular E60s with the M Tech kit as well as the foglights.

Because like Chuck Norris.......M5's don't need fog lights......

seriously....I agree that fog lights make a car look sportier....of course in CA everyone thinks they are actually "Driving Lights" and drives with them on at all times....that I think is kinda silly.....
