Hey..

For those of you who installed headers ( without software upgrade )... what were your immediate impressions when driving out of the shop?

Did you immediately feel a difference?

I've been driving the car for a couple of days now, not much mileage yet.. probably only about 50 miles or so... and I am feeling a little lag in low range torque. Sometimes it really pulls, sometimes it lags! I can't really explain!

I have also installed the Evosport pulley, which i was hoping would atleast compensate for some low end loss.

I also noticed slight hesitation when accelerating... the CEL hasn't come on yet, but that's mainly cause I haven't driven it rough yet.

I noticed the other night that when I floor the car even in 2nd and 3rd gear, the hesitation came with the DSC light flickering throught out the gears!!! That was an encouraging site.

But would it also hesitate without the DSC light coing on.. say for example when it kicks in only slightly?

Your comments would be highly appreciated.

PS: I am running stock sec. cats BTW.

Turn off the DSC and see what happens.

Yup

It was the DSC, the car runs great! I'm just anxiously waiting the dreaded CEL. Hasn't come on yet!

My DD driver is a Hummer H3.

And NO, I hardly ever drive the 997, which is a total waste of money if you ask me!

You're got headers on an M5??? DDDAAAAAAYUUUUUMMMMMMMM!!!!!

When I put em on my Camaro the difference was like night & day. I cann't imagine the effects they would have on a V10.
