Hey all. I just noticed that either me, or my dealer, must of pulled my M5 to far up to a curb/parking space. I have a few scratches on the front bumper, underneath the air intake. Do you think that these could be touched up pretty easily by a body shop? I don't want to repaint it, and it really can't see it unless you are dead on and looking for it.

I think, and am pretty sure, that it happened whilst the car was in for service. I was out of town the week before, and didn't notice it before I took it in for service. I have had the car back for a week (only driven it twice), and just noticed it.

What do you recommend?

TIA

J

I would recommend taking it back to the dealer. No harm in trying to see if they'll own up to the mistake. If not, depends on the scrape, pics would help. As far as touch up, are you thinking a quick bondo, sand, and spray..possible, but again pics would help. Could or would a splitter cover it up?

Sorry to hear about the scrape, hope it gets resolved to your satisfaction.
