didn't you know C&D is favor to american cars? and yet MBZ is american own. they didn't give good review for MBZ before chyrsler took over, can't it be more obvious? don't let them brainwash you!
I subscribe to C&D out oo a charity fundraiser and simply read the magazine for entertainment when I'm in the bathroom. I take their writings with a grain of salt. These car test, in it's primative form, is to find out who has the bigger penis on the road in all aspect.

The reality of it is, you'll never use the penis' capacity in the streets because of other obstacles on the road. And if you get an opportunity to take your penis and compete it with someone else, the millseconds difference is made up by who can jack off better.

So what if the M5 manual as a little ED problem. So what if the Audi is a bit short and stubby. And so what if the MB shoots harder and faster. The point is, how was your "experience?" To that end, if you're happy with your penis, than good for you. I'm happy cause my penis is right in the middle, not to big, not to small V8. Let's just say, "I won't criticize anyone's penis because there will always better a penis next year, and a better jack off somewhere.

There's nothing wrong with jacking off with your penis and reporting the experience. I love to here it because all of us can learn and benefit the maximum pleasure of our rides. But to discuss a remote car test is just having too much free time. Now, if you're planning to upgrade your penis, then yes, by all means, share your experience (test drive comparison).

Sorry for speaking in such primative terms.

Hrmm - I'll have to review the article - just snatched the mag from the mailbox yesterday and haven't had time to peruse it.

Wonder if BMW changed the OEM tires on the M5. .83g is abysmal. The old one they tested pulled .89g, and the 530i Sport pulled .90g. .83g is more in line with the non-sport 530i they tested in 2005. Really really odd. They are very careful testers too.

C&D generally loves BMW, but in the past few years they haven't been very high on them. I think the E39 lost a few comparisons they conducted as well. Seems they like the 3 series the most, arguably the purest form of BMW motoring. Perhaps that's what they respect.

Every car in the test, if I recall correctly, had Continental ContiSport Contact2 tires.

I Think The C&D Guys Sympathy To The Benzes Not This Time Only There Was An Issue About Comparing The Sport Sedan Or Something They Put The 550i In A Late Places! In Handling And Accelerating Category .
Plus There Is Another Comparison Test About The Roadsters Including The New E64 650i And The Sl 550, And As Always The MB Toke it Above All The Rivals.
C&D = Sucks Benzes D****

All BMW has to do is get a better functioning SMG and the M5 will be right back up there.

Yeah, I finally got to read it - they explained that the fact that BMW doesn't permit full DSC/DTC shutdown with the new manual transmission is the reason for the lower lateral g figures. That's kind of sad - to know the car can do so much more. To think, the poor M5 now only handles as well as the non-sport 530i! Ridiculous.

I can't understand their intangibles ratings too - who would rate the S6 higher in "gotta have it" factor? Who lusts for an Audi?
