Hmmm.... Kinda had my heart set on a Tubi, but i have to admit, Calton's sounds awesome. What kind of gain did you get from the RPI Calton?

We tested Rabdog's car with stock AA, then stock. Stock -10whp from AA, then we put our sec 1 and sec 3 = +15whp, then we put 1, 2, 3 = +22whp

Do it Mark!! It's a good time to buy the M5 here too as they're going cheap!! You know it makes sense!!

RPI, thanks for that. I'll give it some more thought...

Good sounding exhaust. I've only heard it with stock sections 1 & 2, but it has a nice clean, high pitch to it. Be sure to ask around for a customer dyno chart before you seriously consider any system though. It's the worst feeling picking up a system then figuring out you lost power.

Ive never personally tested a Tubi on the M5. To get that sound from the M5, the mufflers have to be designed a certain way. The problem with that is that its not always the best for performance. A very popular exhaust out there has a very nice high pitch, raspy sound to it. Most people buy it for the sound. We have dynoed the car at an alarming low number and simply by switching the exhaust, we had a 40+whp swing. So, as noble said, I would look for some credible dyno numbers before making your purchase if your reason for switching exhaust is performance related. If its just for sound then it wouldnt matter at all.

NobleForums, don't worry i won't buy anything without seeing credible proof that it increases performance. I have been told that the Tubi does give a decent power increase of Circa 15bhp+

RPIpower, thanks for the advice. I will certainly consider the RPI exhaust system. 40whp is a hell of an increase!!

Jon - Get RPI! I had Supersprint and Evosport  . RPI rocks! My car is considerably quicker and stronger since going to all RPI. Their R&D is legit and the difference you'll notice is immediate. Plus, their cost of sale is much cheaper than everyone else. Why? Simple, you're not paying for their marketing costs that's built into their product (typical 30% increase). When you buy Eisenmann, you're paying for the name as well. RPI is pretty much all viral marketing at this point. I'm not sure how much longer this will last, as they are growing fast and word is spreading, but their systems are much more affordable than many others that are out there and their results speak for themself!

Go RPI!
