My Ride: Late 2005 M5 in Silverstone Metallic II with Full Black Leather Interior. SMG, LOGIC7, Heated Front Seats, Rear Electric Sun Blind, Comms Package, Professional Nav, TV Function, Extended Voice Control, Adaptive Headlights
Hi all!
I am having a slight problem deciding between a couple of choices i (may) have.
I have recently spoken to a garage who i know very well and have used for most of my modding on all my cars over the years, and i was chatting to the guys up there and they were asking me what mods i had planned for the M. I was saying about a Tubi exhaust, and they asked me if i'd looked into Supersprint and/or Milltek.
I said no, and they looked into both systems whilst i was there, and Milltek currently don't have a system for the E60 M5.
Now, these guys are one of the main distributors and fitting centres for Milltek in the UK, and so therefore rate them very highly and do a lot of work for them. They have a very good relationship with the company too, and have told me that they reckon they'd be able to speak to Milltek and ask them if they'd like to design a system for the E60 M5 around my car, after which, i'll keep the exhaust they finish on my car, and only have to pay a few hundred pounds. They would take my car away for a few days to work on it, and then return it with an exhaust! Sounds good i know, but the only down side is i have NO idea what it will sound like, whereas i know what the Tubi Rumore will sound like...
What would everyone do?? Get the Tubi Rumore and be satisfied 100%
Or
Loose your car for a few days, and have it back with an exhaust that you may or may not like?
BTW, i'm not too fussed about the money side of things, but obviously like anyone, the less i spend the better, but my car is my baby, so i want it to be the best i can get it!

I am personally looking to get Tubi, as i've wanted one since i heard one on an M5 here a few months back. Plus, Tubi also do give decent power gains, on the car's i've seen with them on....
BUT...
How much is the RPI exhaust for Sections 1, 2 and 3?? What sort of gains do people get?
