I heard that the Eis Race exhaust actually causes a loss of hp. Is this true? Cuz I want one. I love the way it sounds, and I love the oval tips. There's a plastic surgeon who comes to the same dealership and his M's lease is expiring. He said he'd sell me the setup, but if it causes loss of hp, i dont want that shiz.

And if I did take it from him, what should be paid for something like that, used?

I have the e-race and have not noticed any loss in power. It's just a section 3, to think that any section 3 exhaust gives you gains (or losses for that matter) is just talk.

I had E race on my M6, and I now have it on my M5......On the M6 I also had X pipes....that sh*t was crazy loud. With 2 kids now, I only have the exhaust on the M5, and it still sounds awesome.
I agree as said, section 3 does little to nothing to a 500 hp car - it is more for sound.

Whatever ur going to go with I only like the oval tip versions. The circle tips look stock and c/f tips look ricey / cheesy. I've owned both and I would take the meistershaft gt2 over the eisenmann race anyday. The sound difference is night and day between them. Build quality and welds look identical as well

ASR Sound is exoticly aggressive with noticeable power gains, especially down low. GL

I dont know why someone would buy a Meisterschaft over an Eisenmann? They are essentially the same price, yet the Meisterschaft is the Korean made replica to the Eisenmann...

If I'm driving a German car then I want an exhaust that's made in Germany for my car, but that's just my 2 cents.
