I think it is pointless to debate which is faster/ better. It is so subjective. I am a BMW lover at heart after owning a few but currently own an E55 but looking for an M5 to add to the garage as well so that I can have the best of both worlds.

M5 all the way for me
it just looks much more sporty and younger looking.
The MB design is for older people and not for the young.
I do like the sound of the AMG better to the Mpower engines

I have not seen a 2x year old drive a E class AMG in HK
but I have seen load of 2x years old drive M5 in HK
The icon for MB in asia is for older ppl unlike the BMW which they are much more younger.
it not about how fast it gose, it the look.

Dealer was horrible, car had too many issues, sc pulley, trans work, suspension leak, battery, seats malfunctioned, and so on. Quality not there. Mine was an 06 with36k miles. Never will I buy another mb. BMW for life.
