I've read all them but never posted. Read them again. I bought the M5 not because it's fast. To be honest with you, it's not that fast. All up until 80, it keeps going and going but I hardly get up there...or do i? LOL.
Reason why I bought the M5 is because of the looks, the transmission, the options. I would NEVER go get an E55 since it basically looks too similar to the regular sports package E-Class. M5 has wider fenders, wider stance, overall different IMO. MOST importantly, the sound of the exhaust is addicting!

Comparing these cars is like splitting hairs. Are they talking 0-60? 1/4 mile? highway top speed run? Lap times? Lots of ways to measure.
If you care about going fast in a straight line or from a roll, there much, much cheaper ways to go a lot faster.

Hey guys, this is really funny.
Some guy asked if the E63 AMG is faster then the E55 AMG and he got hammered as well! LOL
There's a civil war goin on over there! Bunch of thin skinned immature twats.

Thre are some nice guys there but they are hard to come by, I was there for about a year and couldnt take it because they would all be about are track times and how much $$ you have, thats why i sold my AMG and im waiting to Find the RIGHT 5 for me again, hopefully John@motorcepts doesnt convince me to get an M5 lol

From having the E55 I'll tell you that thing is super torquey, but they are only made to go straight, I tried doing hard turns and it felt like my car was about to roll over... in an AMG!! but then agn i had 20's. They arent made for the twisties, over all i'll still go for the ///M or BMW over MB

Is that the E55 in your signature you are talking about? You sold it?
