My Ride: (E60) 535D M-Sport (DMS)
It's excellent, the mid range increase is awesome. Their Customer Service is also excellent.
According to DMS their map is not detectable by any BMW dealer or BMW centrally. Perhaps if your ECU ever went back to Bosch for investigation then they may perhaps detect the mapping, but that's hardly likely to ever happen.
The only annoyance & this is with BMW is that everytime they do a CIP upgrade or any major warranty work, they flash all the ECU's so losing the DMS map. DMS will re re-map your car FOC whenever this happens & would return to stock come re-sale time if you wish.
I've had an SMG replaced & a couple of other faults & BMW have never noticed my DMS map.
It's well worth the money. Give them a call, ask for Mike Cooper, say Paul Clarkson sent you & ask him for their BEST price.
