Drag Race M5 vs SLK55 AMG

My Ride: E60 M5 Black/Black/Silver trim. Idrive, navigation, Active Seats, HUD, SMG, that plastic Key... and every option except the Active Cruise Control. I asked for everything and dealer forgot Active Cruise.....
Last weekend, I had an opportunity to drag race with SLK 55. By Spec, I thought I would have a chance against him. My car was supposed to be faster,and with the Launch control, I was suppose to win. But, this guy does Drag racing for a living or somethin, He beat me three times in a row. First was with Full Launch control, he beat me by car length, second without launch control, he beat me by three car length, third with Launch he beat me by 1/3 car lenght.
I asked him how he does it and someone else who knew him told me that SLK 55 is a real drag machine and can launch faster when it starts in second gear... Well, Now I believe him.
I think I will buy one even if it is used. Only thing is Any M cars or AMG cars are most likely abused, it is not wise to buy it used.

well.. His car was chip tuned and mine is pure stock... I think that made the difference... Also I admit, he is a better driver...
