It could be a lot of things. Use a reader and provide us the DTC codes.

I do not have much to work with, and the only code i have now is P2098 too lean bank 2 catalyst post
and since i do not know yet how to download and use my laptop with impa ( i believe is call)
autozone says is the coils and spark plugs,
sparks plugs are NGK iridium with around 3200k resistance, and the coils individual disconnected has a change in the idle,
the only thing i can see is the rubber is a bit peel off , but I don't know if means the coils are bad or not,
thank you all for your help,
i having a really hard time with thee bimmer,

AutoZone workers are not Mechanics.

From my experience, any tiny thing will throw Bimmers off. They are precision cars. Mine was throwing codes one time, and it was that clip at the top in your photo. It was not seated fully. I saw it was like a half a millimeter unseated. I'm like, naw that can't be it. I reseated it flush anyways. That amazingly fixed it. Watch out for those little things.

I'd strongly suggest you buy a BMW code reader. AutoZone is using a generic reader most likely.

You could easily have a minor vacuum leak that the car is compensating for. A smoke test may be in order.

I had a Creator 110+ reader and costs $44.95. I have a better one coming and it only costs $114.99. That's not too expensive to me. INPA is free but it seems like a pain. Don't tell @seanjordan20 I said that though. He loves INPA.

😂 you know I do. I understand why people choose other methods and I don't knock them. I just know if you take the time to learn the program you have a lot more options than a scanner. Occasionally I use my expensive Autel for simple activations but mainly it's INPA for me because I can code at the same time with NCS expert and coding tool
