DO all 2008+ M5s have usb/ipod? I am just afraid that the dealers dunno what they r talking about. I have heard that M5s all must be optioned with usb/ipod. Is that true?

My Ride: 09 M5 (E60) Interlagos blue, Silverstone interior, with cold weather package. Adaptive Xenon headlamps and adaptive brake lights, hud, comfort access. Comfort seats, basically fully loaded.
my O6 has it.. i dunno about 08.. buy u one and find out goddamnit

Ipod wasn't an option on the 5 series until 08. I'm not sure how your 06 model has it, unless you installed the ipod adapter after the fact...
To answer the original question, no they do not all have it. This was an option on all 08+ M5s ($400).

not possible. you must be referring to your aux input or have an aftermarket kit. 06's didn't have it.
as for the OP - Johnny - Mine has it. I believe it was an option though, but mine does have it. my car also came with a chick that blows the driver only. great option! ask your dealer if yours comes with that too.

My Ride: 04 525i sport, premium, winter, xenon. xm satellite radio, navwithtv dvd system, 1 jl 10w7 sub powered by xtant 1001x amp. 20x8.5/10 on nitto nt555 rubber. acs roof and decklid spoiler, breyton front spoiler.
I knew I shoulda gotten an 08, mine comes with the chick that blows everybody. Definitely best LCI improvement.

but i'd rather have the usb and ipod built-in. BTW, the CIC retrofit also has USB right? Mebbe it doesnt matter. I gotta get the CIC anyway. I dunno. I just want a FULLY LOADED E60 LCI M5. $3K can be put into performance mods.
