I posted this on m5 as well but thought I would reach out here as well. I can not seem to figure out what NAV OS version I have to my 1/06 M5. I downloaded an FAQ and somewhere I am supposed to find SW x-x/xx but cant seem to locate it. Am I just missing something?

Thanks

I believe so. Some says they have MKIV v 29 etc...This is what I am trying to find. Also, if I can get the dealer to upgrade my Idrive software, will this automatically upgrade the NAV OS as well?

My understanding is that the NAV (maps database) is updated only with new DVD discs (the date of release is on the disc). Not sure if the NAV program is updated with SW updates from the dealer.

Only the HIGH versions start with SW, you are looking for a CIP number
