Hey guys, I'm looking at an 06 with a build date of 10/05. Is that one to stay away from? Thanks

Mine is a July 2005 build. Yes yo are right, the SMG is a bitch on these models, but that's pretty much it! If the works have already been carried out on the car, then you have no worries!

What do you mean if the works have been carried out? Hopefully the last two owners were not big fans of launching it...

mines a 9/05 and its never had an smg issue... seriously its all luck i don't buy the build date bs...

looks like a clean car, just check the service history on it and see what kind of warranty work it had done and report back
