Average Fuel Cost

Ok... I'm about to pull the trigger on a Beast. Prices are in now my ballpark, I'm 41, so insurance and operating costs are not an issue. I just need a ballpark of what fellow M5 owners spend monthly on fuel. The M will be my daily driver. I don't drive hard as I am not a child, but will drive spiritedly (sometimes). Will not be our family car, but I will take it on the occasional road trip. What monthly cost am I looking at for in-and-around town fuel? What do you guys spend on average?
Had an M5 loaner for about a week, and I think I filled the tank three times. But I do believe that was because I dogged it rather well!
